Alex's curls -

Summer- did you notice that Alex's hair looks exactly like Landon's did at that age? Lucky for you - you can keep letting hers grow. It was a sad day when your Dad insisted we cut off Landon's curls because he wasn't looking manly enough. You're adorable Alex!

Our Double Date

Tiffany & Randy got in about 8 pm Fri night and we went straight to Fentons! We've got all our son-in-laws hooked on that place. Then Sat. was the bridal shower and some wedding preparations while the boys golfed and we capped off the busy weekend by taking Tiffany & Randy to Napa to have dinner on the Napa Valley Wine Train. It was pretty scenery and we had a box car to ourselves to visit which was really nice. Then we had a very nice dinner - it was a fun evening and a nice chance to get to spend more time with Randy and Tiff.

Tiffany's Bridal Shower

Tiffany's bridal shower had a breakfast at Tiffany's theme - complete with Tiffany's boxes, gourmet food, games, and lots of good friends and great gifs. It was all really really nice and it was fun to have Tiffany out here to celebrate with everyone that has seen her gow up here.

A blast from the past -

Tiffany with the girls from her Young Women's Class growing up. Chalisse Ganzell and Emily Hill - it's been quite a qhile since they've been all together.

Arizona, California here we come!

Thanks to Grandma, Noah has a new swimsuit and matching swimshirt that he's really excited about and wants to wear everyday. He got so used to his grandmas sending him packages of clothes that when I got a package the other day, Noah looked inside and said, "Mommy why is it not clothes?"

So we went to the mall yesterday and got Alex a pretty swimsuit, sunhat, and sandals. She's so chubby and cute in it! Her new sandals are kind of chunky and it was pretty funny to see her walking around in them yesterday...it took her some getting used to.

I tried on my swimsuit the other day to make sure it still fit...I walked out to the living room, where Noah was playing, to look in the full-length mirror and Noah said, "Mommy, why are you wearing that?" I don't think that's a very good sign!

We're so excited for our upcoming vacation!

Dad, did she get these curls from you?

Okay, Alex wont hold still for a second so it's almost impossible to get a good picture of her on my own...but just look at those curls!

Hot and Humid weather

Alex is adorable in her summer clothes and her hair is so cute and curly with the humidity. What can I say about Noah? He's just a cheeseball with the camera.

The Medical Group

We recently had a going away BBQ for our fourth year friends with almost all the med students in attendance. This is the only picture we've ever gotten with ALMOST everyone in it. We were happy to see that our group that started out small has been growing over the years. This is Noah with fellow med-kid and best buddy Lydia. They're moving to Virginia in a couple weeks and he's going to be sad. He said to me yesterday, "Mommy I love Lydia. She's my favorite girl!"

Alex stills loves her thumb and blanky (her be-be)

Noah sweepig the stairwell with Daddy

Here's Noah in his usual get-up...t-shirt, undies, and flip-flops. He usually takes his shorts and shoes off as soon as we're home but lately he wants to wear his shoes with no pants, just undies. This isn't a great picture of it, but you can imagine how ridiculous he looks!

Shrek and Tinkerbell

I got these chairs for the kids and they love them! But now Alex is driving us nuts...she can't get in and out of it very well by herself, because it tips over, but as soon as you get her in she wants out, as soon as she's out she wants back in. She wont leave us alone!
Noah likes to put his chair 6 inches from the tv and prop his feet up on the tv stand while he watches. He calls is his "shrak chair"

Triplets...

These pictures aren't very big, but they sure are cute. These are all of Autumn and Spring because this was the day that Winter was really sick. Autumn has tons of hair and I put it up in this funny ponytail and Summer and I were playing with the girls when London, the 4 yr old brother walked in, looked at Autumns ponytail, and said "Mom, is Autumn a fighter?" I guess she looks kinda like a sumo wrestler... it was so funny.

some recent pictures...

John and I went to a session at the Bountiful Temple on my birthday. My one lucky day with NO SHOTS! I'm already forgetting what that feels like!

It's been awhile...

I haven't posted on the blog in a longtime - the kids are keeping me too busy! I just wanted to give a brief update...Alex is (obviously) walking all over the place. She tries to run, to keep up with Noah, and then she falls on her face and says "Whoa!" She's a tough little girl and she can definitely hold her own with Noah! Alex is talking and understanding a lot theses days. Some of her favorite words right now are: cheese, outside, all done, ba-ba, bye-bye, be-be (blanky). Yes, she still drags her gigantic red blanky around and she still sucks her thumb like there's no tomorrow. She is into all kinds of trouble these days and she thinks it's hilarious...until she doesn't get her way and then you've never seen a tantrum like this from someone so young! She flops around on the ground, sobs like she's dying, and she is so mad at me she wont let me pick her up or she hits me. Oh well, at least she's cute right? She's still got all kinds of fat rolls, her hair is getting long and with the humidity here it curls up and is so cute!

Noah is getting tall - it's strange to see him turn into a kid. He talks non-stop and the things he comes up with are hilarious. Here are some of his most recent sayings:

"I'm gonna ride my bike REALLY fast! I want to feel the wind blowing through my hair!"

"Look mom, what a nice sunny day! That means we can play outside."

Referring to himself - "It's no fun being small"

Referring to his poop - "It's a twisty-rolly one!"

With a tilt of the head and a super cheesy smile - "Pretty Please-ey?"

Sternly - "Is that a deal mommy?"

It's something new everyday. Right now Noah's favorite thing to do it play outside. He loves to ride his lightning mcqueen bike, "work" in the garden, go to the park, walk to the lake. When daddy comes home he loves to rough house/jump/wrestle on our big bed with him. Noah and Alex have fun playing "chase" together. Noah also thinks he's Alex's disciplinarian.

Paul is on an Anesthesia rotation right now and so far so good - maybe this will be the one! All our 4th year friends graduate this weekend and move next week. That makes us the 4th years...pretty weird! Paul will start the residency application process in september, that makes it seem a little more real, but we wont know where we are going until March. It'll be another busy year for us but an exciting one too hopefully!

Well, I think that's it. It's hard to keep up with everybody these days so I'll have to get back into the habit of blogging. We can't wait to see everyone next month - Noah talks about it all the time! Love you all...

I wish Bond wanted his car back from dad - that would mean dad had an Astin Martin instead of a Porsche. But dang that thing looks good, can't wait to drive it this weekend dad...and what the crap since when is Landon so dang tall? Excited to see you guys!
