Almost there!

Fully dilated and going to start pushing soon!
Hey everyone...it's 11:30 am now and everything's going smoothly. She just got an epidural and they're going to break her water in about 10 minutes. After they check her cervix, I'll let you know how far she's progressing. Talk to you soon.

So I was teasing Summer about coming home from the hospital right after the baby was born. She said, "are you tring to kill me?" Now Noah is walking around the house saying, "Daddy kill me mommy."

Here's some pictures of our skydiving trip! It was so much fun and I really wanna do it again, so whoever is brave enough to do it with me, let me know.... : )

We had the baby!

Just wanted to let you know that the baby was born last night. You won't believe how this went down. Summer and I were eating dinner at this restaurant and right in the middle of dinner, her water broke all over the chair, floor, etc. So we bolted out of the restaurant and started driving to the hospital, but I was kind of in a hurry and we got in a little car accident on the way. It wasn't that bad, but then we had to wait for the cops to get there and stuff. Summer's contractions were getting stronger and more frequent, so the cops called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. So the ambulance came and took us to the hospital and they checked her right when we got there and she was dilated to a 9! Anyway, it happened pretty quickly after that, and she wasn't able to get an epidural, which she was really mad about, but everything turned out ok. So we hope your weekends are going well too. Call us when you get a chance. pg

Best Valentines Day Ever

I had the oppurtunity to surpise Frances in Provo at her dorm room on Valentines Day and despite the freaking cold weather and the fact that there are about zero things to do in Provo, we still had a ton of fun and it was an awesome visit. She's definitely one in a million. For the past few weeks her friends have helped me plan this big surprise. They're really great and I love them a lot too. -Tanner

Noah loves to wear our shoes, but I was pretty surprised he could get in and out of my snowboots by himself. As you can see, Noah still loves to pose for a picture.

Mom are you sure you're up for this?!?

Baby Alex

Good news everyone! I had another doctor's appointment today and I'm all set to be induced on Feb 27th! Only 12 more days! As you can see I'm about ready to pop.
I still need e-mail addresses for Tanner, Tiffany, Michelle, and John. Could you get those to me Faye? Would Landon do this? If so, I can send another invite to your heckahunts account and he can sign up. I would like to hear more of his comments on Shakespeare :).

Landon's thoughts on Shakespeare

Yesterday I was talking to Landon in the car and he was telling me that they've been reading Children's Shakespeare and our conversation picked up something like this:

Mom - "So do you like Shakespeare?"
Landon - "Yeah - it's awesome! We've read a whole bunch of stories."
Mom - "And you like them all?
Landon - "Well not really Romeo and Juliet and some of the other romance ones cause everyone is always falling in love with the wrong people."
Mom - "Oh yeah"
Landon - "But the other ones like Othello and stuff are so cool cause everyone ends up dead!"
Mom- "You like that huh?"
Landon - " Yeah - and Macbeth is super cool too because everyone goes mad!"

Maybe you had to be there - but I thought Landon's insights on Shakespeare were hilarious!
From "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart":

"Moms, dads, if you're watching right now, I can't emphasize this enough: Do not let your kids go on hunting trips with the vice president. I don't care what kind of lucrative contracts they're trying to land, or energy regulations they're trying to get lifted--it's just not worth it."

Thanks

Paul - thanks for setting this up - this should be fun! Do you have all the e-mails you need?

Hey everyone...well I thought that this would be a good way to keep in touch with everybody. Summer is always talking to all of you, but I'm not so I hope this works.

This is one of our favorite pictures of Noah. When we were in Utah at Christmas time Noah always wanted to wear Greg's hat.
