Birthday Bash

We had friends over for cake and ice cream. We put Alex in her highchair with a cupcake but she was already so tired she just cried and sucked her thumb. She got excited once we lit the candle and started singing to her though. I still think Noah was more excited about Alex's birthday than Alex was though...look at his face!

Alex's present

Alex got a baby doll for her birthday. She was really excited, she kept pounding on the baby's face (which is what she does to us too). She got an outfit, a blanket, and 2 bottles for her baby too. First she tried to drink the bottle herself, then Noah showed her how to feed her baby. Now she does it all the time. We were excited to give Alex her first real "girl" toy.

Alex is obsessed with playing in the bathroom

Noah thinks he is helping me when he tries to discipline Alex - he knows when she's doing something she's not supposed to. The other day I was in the bathroom and Alex followed me in and was playing in the cupboard. Noah was scolding her and trying to keep her out but I told him it was ok because I was watching her. Noah got upset and said, "But mommy Alex is being a trouble girl!"

Valentines Day!

So its finally official! We are engaged ; ) Sheli, this is the best picture we could get of my ring and it still look blurry....I am excited to see all the girls in March and show you my ring then! ; )

Alex is taking steps now and I was trying to get a picture/video of it but whenever I get the camera out she wants to play with it. She cries (first picture) until she gets it (second picture).
